Excess volume of associated solution

Description

A new expression for excess volume of associated solution, permitting separation of the excess volume into a sum of three contributions, corresponding to: 1) associative interaction of components; 2) nonassociative interaction of equilibrium solution particles: 3) change in equilibrium composition of solution as a result of associative-nonassociative interaction, has been obtained. The expression analysis is made using excess volume in the system SnTe by way of example. 16 refs., 3 figs
