This article is anether attempt to give a survey of special metals, their production, processing and application, as has been made in four previous articles. The article confines itself essentially to publications made in 12 German and 12 English journals, focussed on metallurgy, metallography, electrochemistry, and sections of electrical engineering. Mit diesem Aufsatz wird erneut versucht, einen Ueberblick ueber die Sondermetalle, ihre Herstellung, Verarbeitung und Anwendung zu bieten, wie dies bereits in vier frueheren Aufsaetzen geschehen ist. Diese Arbeit beschraenkt sich weitgehend auf Veroeffentlichungen in je 12 deutsch- und 12 englischsprachigen Zeitschriften mit den Schwerpunkten Metallurgie, Metallkunde und Elektrochemie, und Teilgebieten der Elektrotechnik.
