Cold non-equilibrium plasma generated by electromagnetic fields
Description
In Chapter 3, we shall examine the properties of gas discharge plasma in relation to the degree of saturation of air with water molecules. The properties of cold non-equilibrium plasma should be compared primarily with the properties of Debye low-temperature plasma obtained as a result of ionisation of dry air (N/p ∼ 0). This approach makes it possible to examine in greater detail the nature of changes taking place in plasma, in relation to the degree of saturation of the plasma with water molecules. In this study, Debye plasma is represented mainly by low-temperature microwave discharge plasma
