Application of the quantum Green function method for description of nuclear reactions with compound particles

  • 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR). Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki

Description

The paper deals with a possible explanation of nuclear reactions with participating compound particles (fragments) on the basis of formalism of quantum Green's functions without assuming weakness of interactions and the mechanism of nuclear processes, multi-particle collisions in fragments being completely taken into consideration. The expressions obtained for T-matrix contain microscopic multi-particle expressions for effective interaction and optical potentials expressed through irreducible vertex parts and mass operators. Multiple collisions of particles in nuclear fragments are strictly taken into account and lead to renormalization of quasiparticle interaction in fragments. The effective interactions entering into the expression for T-matrix of most simple nuclear reactions may be characterized by several constants determined from comparison of theory with experiment
