A survey of disto physics (Status Report)
Description
The presence of spin-particle inside the hadrons has moved the question of spin dependence to the forefront and the essential role of the spin in particle physics has been underlined by several authors. The DISTO experiment could make an essential contribution to clarifying the present puzzle of polarization phenomena and the role of the strangeness in the nucleon and nuclei. The experimental setup is described, the installation is scheduled for completion during the spring, and the φ-meson production are to begin during the summer 1996. (A.C.)
