Ion-surface interactions on astronomical bodies

Description
The report is devoted to the problem of ion-solid collisions in the Solar System. New results on the fluence and energy dependence of sputtering yields, and on ozone formation in the case of solid oxygen irradiated by 20-200 keV protons, H2+, and He+ ions are presented. The electron emission from MgO as a result of ion and electron bombardment is studied. Experiments are done with He+, Ne+, Ar+ and Xe+ ions at normal incidence on MgO, at impact energies from 100 eV to 4 keV

Доклад посвящен проблеме столкновений ионов с твердыми телами в Солнечной системе. Представлены новые данные по флюенсу, энергетической зависимости выхода распыления, а также по образованию озона для случая облучения твердого кислорода протонами, ионами Н2+ и Не+ с энергиями 20-200 кэВ. Изучается эмиссия электронов из MgO в результате бомбардировки ионами и электронами. Эксперименты проведены с ионами He+, Ne+, Ar+ и Хе+ при нормальном падении на MgO в диапазоне энергий от 100 эВ до 4 кэВAdditional details
