On the influence of the break in differential cross section on profile function

Description
Structure of elastic scattering amplitude with respect to impact parameter is studied which is due to the break in differential cross-section. Exact as well as approximate expressions for the correction term are obtained. Numerical calculations are performed for pp-interaction at 1500 GeV
