Description
A study of the 200 keV proton beam transmission through glass (borosilicate) tapered capillaries with different diameters of the input of the capillary was performed. The focusing effect was observed. The area density of the transmitted beam is enhanced by a few orders of magnitude. The effect of transformation of the continuous initial beam into a pulse one, revealed in our previous experiments, is caused by charging of the inlet part of the capillary. (authors)
