Development state and future use of integrated alloyed steel 07X16H19M2G2BTFR (EK164) for BN reactors core fuel element cans

Description

We have considered basic development approaches for austenite chrome and nickel steels that give, from structure point of view, low swelling under destruction doses of 100-120 s.n.a. We have validated alloying principles, choice of chemical composition and structure phase condition of new radiation-resistant steel 07X16H19M2G2BTFR (EK164). Under industrial conditions there have been tested and improved technology for melting and manufacture of tubular billet. Under industrial conditions the first (∼200 m) lot of pipes EK164 in good condition was manufactured. We researched structure, phase and chemical composition of released phases in enveloped pipes of EK164 steel at temperature-time parameters of fuel element operation when burnup is ≥ 12% t.a
