Significance of special radioactive wastes for long-term safety in ultimate storage sites
Description
The radiological consequences of inflowing water into a closed ultimate storage site during post-operational phase for generations to come are determined. The analysis considers the nuclides C-14 and J-129. In this context, the origin of nuclide releases, i.e. the type of wastes and the location of the storage site in particularly significant (reprocessing wastes or wastes from the regional collecting points). The quantities of Rn-222 are estimated from the Ra concentrations in drinking water. As for tritium, the radiological consequences of storage at Gorleben are determined by means of analogous approach. (orig./DG)

Die radiologischen Konsequenzen eines Wasserzutritts in das verschlossene Endlager waehrend der Nachbetriebsphase fuer kuenftige Generationen werden ermittelt. In diesen Analysen sind die Nuklide C-14 und J-129 beruecksichtigt. Hierbei ist die Herkunft der Nuklidfreisetzung hinsichtlich Abfallart und Einlagerungsort von besonderem Interesse (Wiederaufarbeitungs- bzw. Landessammelstellenabfaelle). Die Bedeutung des Rn-222 wird aus den Ra-Konzentrationen im Trinkwasser abgeschaetzt. Fuer T werden im Fall der Einlagerung in Gorleben die radiologischen Konsequenzen ueber Analogiebetrachtungen ermittelt. (orig./DG)Additional details
