Method of frequency stabilization with a cavity for the feedback linac
Description
An improved method of frequency stabilization with the resonance cavity was described. The change of signal area was more suitable than the change of signal amplitude to show the deviation of the oscillation frequency of the magnetron from the resonance frequency of the cavity. The output of the detector could by integrated to find the signal area which was converted into data by an ADC and be transferred into the single chip processor and processed. The output of the microprocessor could control the servo to tune the magnetron. As a result, the change of oscillation frequency of the magnetron would be controlled with in ±20 KHz
