Search for neutrino oscillations at the Gosgen nuclear power reactor

The positron spectrum from the reaction ν-bar/sub e/ + rho→e/sup +/ +n was measured at three distances 37.9m, 45.9m and 64.7m from the core of the Gosgen nuclear power reactor. These data were analyzed in terms of neutrino oscillations of the type ν-bar/sub e/ →ν/sub x/. No evidence for ν - oscillations was found. In particular the oscillation parameter region favoured by an experiment at the reactor in Bugey (France) is not supported by the data presented here
