Fundamental symmetries
Description
A review is presented of recent developments in knowledge and understanding of a range of symmertries of various types and of their inter-relationships. The subjects reviewed in this article include T-odd in electromagnetic nuclear transitions, T-odd in nuclear reactions, warnings as to T-odd effects, Lorentz invariance, charge independence and charge symmetry in the NN interaction, CP-violation in the KL0 system, CP-violation in nuclear physics, CPT, universality in the charged weak current, couplings in nuclear beta-decay, electroweak universality, muon decay parameters, strangeness-changing decays, lepton number, neutrino masses, Dirac and Majorana neutrions, p rity non-conservation in the NN interaction, parity non-conservation in atoms, anomalous lepton-hadron couplings, and baryon non-conservation.
