On Fe-C phase diagram and effects of some factors cementite decomposition

Diagram of state variant for Fe-C state, where formation of cementite in hypereutectic alloys with carbon content higher than 4.5 mas.% occurs by peritectic reaction of liquid phase with graphite, is given on the basis of experimental and literature data. Effect of alloying and pressure variation on cementite decomposition in iron-carbide alloys is analyzed
