Three major technology assessments of nuclear energy in the Federal Republic of Germany were discussed : - ''Consequences of large-scale implementation of nuclear energy in the Federal Republic of Germany'', conducted by the Abteilung fuer Angewandte Systemanalyse / AFAS (Division of Applied Systems Analysis) of the Kernforschungszentrum (Nuclear Research Center) Karlsruhe. - ''Studies on technical, organizational and societal preconditions for risk handling in the field of nuclear energy'', conducted by Batelle Institute e.V., Frankfurt a. M. - ''Future nuclear energy policy'', the work of the Enquete Commission (Committee of Inquiry) of the 8th German Bundestag (Federal Parliament). (orig./HSCH)
