Pressurizer quench tank response for a loss-of-load event at the Calvert Cliffs Plant
Description
In January, 1987, relief valve leakage during RCS leak rate testing caused the rupture disc on the Calvert Cliffs Unit 1 pressurizer quench tank to burst. This event led to analysis of expected tank response for anticipated transients. Changes are recommended for operating practices, and revision of the FSAR and rupture disc specification are suggested
