Kinetics of charged particles in a free-localized pulse-periodic SHF discharge in air

Description

The spatial-time evolution of electrons in non-equilibrium plasma of non-electrode discharge, created by the focused beam of the SHF radiation with the wave length λ = 10 cm in the air and in technological nitrogen by pressure 0.1-10 Torr, is studied. The obtained values for electrons mean energy E = 1.5 - 2 eV are in good agreement with the data, calculated through the nonstationary kinetic model of discharge in dry air
