Description
Alzheimer's disease is a central nervous system degenerative disease characterized by progressive cognitive disorder and behavioral deficits. It is difficult to make an early diagnosis due to its insidious onset. Currently, researchers worldwide have been carrying on a lot of studies with various imaging techniques on the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. As a new imaging technique, resting-state fMRI emerged and developed rapidly in recent years. It has been widely used in the studies of Alzheimer's disease due to its advantages such as various analysis methods, high practicality and patients' better compliance. In this article, we reviewed the recent studies on the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease by using resting-state fMRI, mainly on its analysis methods. (authors)
