Discussion on relationship between uranium metallogenesis and multiperiodic hydrothermal activities in Hengjian-Gangshangying deposit
Description
Migration and enrichment of uranium in the basement metamorphic rock of Xiangshang volcanic basin during the regional metamorphism, tectonic deformation, differentiation and evolution of the anatectic magmas are analyzed. It is pointed out that uranium which is liberated by the complete differentiation and evolution of the anatectic magmas formed by the uranium enriched formation in the basement is the major uranium sources of Xiangshan ore-field. By analyzing the altered mineral assemblages in different stages of ore-forming hydrothermal activity in Hengjian-Gangshangying Deposit, evolutionary processes of metallogenic hydrthermal compositions are discussed. It is considered that this deposit belongs to middle to low temperature hydrothermal uranium deposit. (authors)
