Description
We present a comparative analysis of the Inelastic Overlap Functions predicted by three geometrical models: Glauber-Velasco, Chou-Yang and Menon-Pimentel. Similarities and differences concerning optical and geometrical aspects are discussed for both pp and pp elastic scattering, in the wide range from I S R to Tevatron energies. Comparisons with experimental extraction of the Inelastic Overlap Functions by fit procedures are also presented and discussed. (author)
