Unified treatment of bound-state and scattering problems

Description

The iteration-subtraction method for the unified treatment of bound-state and scattering problems is compared and contrasted with a similar method for the two-body bound state problem via nonsingular scattering equations developed recently. It's also compared another recent method for solving bound state problems with the iteration-subtraction method. (Author)

Abstract (Portuguese)

O metodo de iteracao-subtracao para o tratamento unificado de estados ligados e de problemas de espalhamento e comparado e contrastado com um metodo similar para o problema do estado ligado de dois corpos, via equacoes nao-singulares de espalhamento desenvolvidas recentemente. Faz-se tambem uma comparacao com outro metodo recente para solucionar problemas de estados ligados com o metodo de iteracao-subtracao. (Autor)
