Description

Column gamma densimeter with a Cs-137 source applied to determine densities of bottom sediments under conditions of ship laboratory, is described, and its technical characteristics are presented. The device permits to measure density without taking sediment sample from the geological tube. Results of testing the densimeter under conditions of the Baltic Sea are presented
