Thermodynamics of cation distribution in solid solutions with garnet structure
Description
The thermodynamic method for calculating cation distribution in multisublattice solid solutions is suggested. In approximation of quasielastic interaction of atoms possible types of concentration dependence of long-range order type parameter in compounds with garnet structure are obtained. The possibility of isostructural phase transition of ''order-disorder'' type is shown. The experimental dependence of parameter of long-range order type on concentration in two systems: Eusub(3)Fesub(5-5c)Gasub(5c)Osub(12) and Ysub(3)Fesub(5-5c)Gasub(5c)Osub(12) is described
