On connection between ability for electrochemical sorption of oxygen and electronic structure of cation in lanthanide orthovanadates series

Description
Dependence of the ability to sorb elctrochemically generated oxygen on the type of cations in lanthanide orthovanadate series is investigated. The ability is shown to be determined by the number of electrons on the 4f-shell of a cation that testifies to essential role of 4f-states in formation of compound electron structure
