Combined analyzer of uranium, free acid and nitrate ions

Description
The analyzer consists of an analytical and an electronic units. A detailed description is presented of both units. The analyzer uses a PMD 85 microcomputer. The basic functions of the analyzer were tested such as the accuracy of sampling, the reproducibility of determinations and reliability in long-term operation. In the uranium concentration range of 0.5 to 80 mg/l U, free acid of 5 to 100 g/l H2SO4, nitrate ions of 10 to 100 g/l NO3-, the coefficient of correlation for the individual determinations was found to be better than 0.999.
