Description
For spent fuel management in forming two-component nuclear energy system with thermal and fast reactors (with account of the BN-1200 reactor series development in the medium term) the creation of centralized integrated complex for spent fuel management seems the most rational solution. This complex includes storage, reprocessing and production of fuel from regenerated materials both for thermal and for fast energetics in the absence of radioactive waste discharges and with their minimal amounts for disposal. Such complex meets all the modern concepts of the non-proliferation, economy and ecology
Abstract (Russian)
Для обращения с отработавшим ядерным топливом в создаваемой двухкомпонентной ядерной энергетической системе с тепловыми и быстрыми реакторами (с учетом создания в среднесрочной перспективе серии реакторов БН-1200) наиболее рациональным решением представляется создание централизованного интегрированного комплекса по обращению с отработавшим ядерным топливом. Этот комплекс включает хранение, переработку и изготовление топлива из регенерированных материалов как для тепловой, так и для быстрой энергетики, при отсутствии сбросов радиоактивных отходов и с их минимальными объемами для захоронения.
