Ultraviolet photometry from the Orbiting Astronomical Observatory. VI. Magnesium II 2800 A emission in cool stars

Description
Spectral scans of the 2800 A region made with 25 A resolution are presented for 19 giants and supergiants of spectral types G, K, and M. Mg ii emission fluxes are given for eight of these stars and compared with the emission in Ca ii K.
