NITAWL-S: scale system module for performing resonance shielding and working library production
Description
NITAWL-S is a module that is required by many calculational sequences in the SCALE system. Its major function is to collect data from up to three input cross section libraries and to process, reformat, and write the information onto a working library for use in a transport calculation. It can also serve as a production resonance calculation module for those nuclides which have resonance parameters included in their basic cross section data. In this case, the Nordheim Integral treatment and a simplified unresolved treatment are employed. This document describes the resonance theory, all numerical procedures, the computer related requirements and the input and output of NITAWL-S
