Atomic waste for ever

Creators

Description

Recent developments in the problem area of radioactive waste are reported. A new working contract between the French firm Cogema in la Hague and the nuclear centre Borssele for the treatment of fission product waste is critically discussed and a few fundamental doubts raised. A new report concerning the storage of atomic waste in salt domes in the Netherlands is commented upon. The author wants the government to prevent the treatment contract, to close the nuclear plants at Borssele and Dodewaard, to stop the dumping of atomic waste in the sea and to finish all examinations into the storage of atomic waste.
