Solubility of alkali, alkaline earth metals and magnesium in anhydrous hydrogen peroxide
- 1. AN SSSR, Chernogolovka. Inst. Novykh Khimicheskikh Problem
Description
Solubility of perchlorates of alkali, alkaline earth metals and magnesium in anhydrous N2O2 is investigated isothermally at 0 deg C. Solubility (in g of salt per 100 g of solvent at 0 deg C) constitutes for LiClO4 - 62.3; NaClO4 - 42.12; KClO4 - 3.52; RbClO4 - 4.73; CsClO4 - 15.34; Mg(ClO4)2 - 70.1; Ca(ClO4)2 - 97.7; Sr(ClO4)2 - 113.3. Calcium and strontium perchlorates are crystallized from H2O2 solutions in solvate form Ca(ClO4)2x2H2O2 and Sr(ClO4)2xH2O2. Lithium and magnesium perchlorates form not very stable solvates which composition can't be determined. Sodium, potassium, rubidium and cesium perchlorates are isolated from hydrogen peroxide solutions in nonsolvated state
