Study of the sensitivity of behavior of the WWER-1000 reactor to the debris size parameter during a severe accident, when using the MELCOR core
Description
The sensitivity of the WWER-1000 reactor was examined for the evolution of an accident of the 'transient with blackout' type when analyzed by the MELCOR ver. 1.8.3 code. The sensitivity on the timing of the major events when altering the size of the equivalent diameter of the debris and the effect on the course of the zirconium and steel oxidation processes were investigated
