Characteristics of water-chemical regimes in steam-generating circuits of foreign dual cycle NPPs with PWR type reactors

Description
The effect of medium composition (water regimes) and structural materials of steamgenerators on no-failure operation of the secondary NPP circuit equipment with PWR type reactors is considered using three countries: France, FRG and Japan as an example. Data obtained in the process of steamgenerator operation with natural circulation are given. Optimization of water-chemical regimes of steamgenerators is shown to be very important reserve of NPP reliability and efficiency
