Anisotropy of cosmic rays with energies above 1019 eV
- 1. AN SSSR, Yakutsk. Inst. Kosmofizicheskikh Issledovanij i Aehronomii
Description
A distribution of the directions of the extensive air showers at energies higher than 1019 eV is considered for more than 100 events. The experimental data are put on a map of equal exposures. The observed anisotropy in the directions of the incident particles shows, that cosmic rays with such energies are most likely to come from outside of the Galaxy
