A comparative study of the sensitivity and fading characteristics of thermoluminescent LiF chips

Description
The thermoluminescence properties of a new preparation of lithium fluoride (LiF) in chip form from Vinten Instruments Ltd have been compared in a preliminary study with those of the standard Harshaw chip. The new material compares favourably with the Harshaw material in thermoluminescence sensitivity and background response. (author)
