The mathematical modelling of radiation damages of HTSC bolometers

Description

Variation in performance of HTSC bolometer depending on the type of bombarding particle is investigated by means of Monte Carlo method. It is shown that the heat induced on the HTSC element in respect to one nucleon of a bombarding particle for energies of some GeV/nucleon remains practically invariable. The performance of the bolometer is charged significantly for fluxes of the order of 109 protons/cm2xc and up. 1 ref.; 1 tab
