Pyomyositis: A case presentation

Pyomyositis is a rare bacterial infection characterized by the formation of abscesses on the skeletal muscle. Staphylococcus aureus is the most frequently cultivated germ, although other pathogens have also been reported.lt can be characterized as unifocal or multifocal, primary or secondary, according to its physiopathology. lt develops insidiously, so its early diagnosis requires a great deal of clinical suspicion and the support of images. In this article the case of a little girl with pyomyositis multifocal is presented, accompanied by a bibliographic review
