Description
Twelve talks and 26 posters were presented during the experimental sessions of the EC-12 conference. The tokamak, stellarator, reverse field pinch (RFP) and mirror trap geometries were discussed. The reviewer addresses the following main items: - Electron Bernstein waves; - Modulated electron cyclotron heating; - Neoclassical tearing mode stabilization with consequent performance enhancement; - Extension of operational domains which deals with sawtooth stabilization, confinement scaling, high elongation, current profile control
