Time synchronization to particle bunches in cyclotron beam
Description
A device for detecting time of cyclotron-accelerated particle bunch incidence on a target is described. Method of synchronization to cyclotron accelerating voltage phase with the error reduction of time synchronization by means of electronic-controlled delay is used in the device. Time resolution of NaI(Tl)-detector spectrometer in U-120 cyclotron beam, determined by Eγ≥500 keV γ-quanta incident coincidence peak halfwidth, for 10 hours of continuous operation is 2.5 ns
