Non-linear interactions between electromagnetic fields at high temperatures

  • 1. Sao Paulo Univ., SP (Brazil). Inst. de Fisica

Description

We investigate the behaviour of the non-linear interaction between electromagnetic field at high temperatures. We show that, in general way, there is no contribution proportional to T2, and that the log(T) dependence relates in a simple way with the ultraviolet behaviour at zero temperature. We present arguments which indicate that the thermal action tends to action negative value at zero temperature, when T → ∞
