Tritiated water treatment processes
Description
Manufacturing pure gas tritium generates tritiated waters with activity levels between 100 and 300 000 Ci/L. The resulting waters require a safety storage before being treated in order to recover tritium into its gas phase. This latter stage is carried out thanks to well adapted chemical reactions according to the type of water used (gas reforming, iron reduction, electrolysis). (authors)
