Solvation effects on the tunability of a fluorescein dye laser
Description
From a study of the gain spectra, fluorescein in acidic ethanol is found to be tunable over a broader range (500-580 nm) and has a lower gain compared to fluorescein in basic ethanol (tunability: 530-565 nm). (orig.)
