Description
In order to obtain the flow resistance characteristics of the water in heat exchanger tube bundle, within the range of Reynolds from 500 to 50000. In the experiment, researches have been done on the heat exchanger performance test-bed, which is built according to the similarity criterion. Through the experiment, the flow resistance characteristic curves of the internal side, external side in the first circuit have been obtained, then fitting out of each flow friction coefficient formula. Compared with the test results of another geometrical similar heat exchanger, which is double-pipe bundle with finned external tubes and microwave internal tubes, the result reveals that bundle structures make effects on the flow resistance characters. The location framework is the major cause of the increase in external circuit resistance coefficient of the plain tubes. (authors)
