Nonlinear optical properties of CdSe nano- and microcrystals

Description
Nonlinear transmission and luminescence spectra of samples of silicate glass containing semiconducting CdSe crystallites are investigated by nonlinear spectroscopy methods with picosecond time resolution. Possible mechanisms leading to optical nonlinearities in nano- and microcrystals of cadmium selenide are discussed. 10 refs., 5 figs
