Description
The cross section and density-matrix elements for e+e- → V + X and e+e- → B+ X are calculated in the γ-Z0 interference region. The Feynman-Field model for the quark fragmentation functions is extended to include baryons and spin of the particles. Possibilities for obtaining more specific information about the spin dependence of the fragmentation mechanism and the weak coupling of quarks are discussed. (orig.)
