Population of resonance, metastable and 43D123 levels of atomic strontium in a hollow-cathode helium discharge
Creators
Description
The mechanism of population and liberation of states 53P012, 43D123, 51P1 and 41D2 of strontium atom in a helium discharge in a hollow cathode of 15 mm in diameter and l=100 mm cooled of running water is studied. Helium pressure varied from 0.65 up to 1.6 Torr and the discharge current -from 50 to 500 mA. Satisfactory coincidence of velocities populating and dispersed processes of the levels observed in strontium atom is obtained
