Crystal and molecular structures of (4,4'-DipyH2)(MeaH)[Mo2Cl9] and (4-NH3PyH)(MeaH)[Mo2Cl9]
Description
The X-ray diffraction investigation of (4, 4'-Dipy H2) (MeaH)x[Mo2Cl9] (1) and (4-NH3PyH (MeaH)x[Mo2Cl9] (2)), where MeaH is monoethanolamine, is performed. Crystals 1 pertain to rhombic crystal system: a=7.487(2), b=16.759(4), c=18.886 (3) A, Z=4, sp.gr. P212121. Crystals 2 are monoclinic: a=7.205(1), b=16.226(4), c=20.974(4) A, γ=91.90(2) deg, Z=4, sp.gr. P2/b. The structures are solved by direct method. R-factor values constituted 0.024 and 0.066 for 1 and 2, respectively. The Mo-Mo 2 distances in 1 and 2 anions: 2.619(1) and 2.610(2) A. The analysis of hydrogen bonds in investigated compounds is conducted
