Measurements of cross sections for the (n,2n) reaction of 58Ni, 93Nb, 181Ta and 197Au
Description
Cross sections for the 58Ni(n,2n)57Ni, 93Nb(n,2n,)sup(92m)Nb, 181Ta(n,2n)sup(180m)Ta and 197Au(n,2n)196Au reactions have been measured by the activation technique in the neutron energy range from 12 to 18 MeV. The measurements were relative to the known cross sections of the 27Al(n,α)24Na or 56Fe(n,p)56Mn reaction at 14.61 MeV. The results measured were compared with existing data. The recommended curves are also given. (Auth.)
