Hot atom chemistry in the natural radioactive series

Creators

Description

The occurrence of hot atom effects along the natural radioactive series is discussed. Possible consequences of such effects include the rupture of radioactive equilibria and the radiosynthesis of chemically stable compounds. The chemical effects of the natural decays may also effect the environmental behaviour of radionuclides. (orig.)
