Study of composite material Al-Al2O3

Description
The main characteristics in the combination of the aluminium with the ceramic material Al2O3 is analyzed. Firstly the powders are mixed to posterior compaction sintering and hot extrusion. Quantitative data of yield strength and hardness were obtained. These two properties increased with the aluminium content. (author)
