Description
Studies on the catalytic properties of V-P catalysts of the composition Rsub(x)[(V4+O)sub(x)(V5+O)sub(1-x)PO4].nH2O in the oxidation of butane indicate that at identical phase structure their catalytic activity depends on the V4+/V5+ ratio. Optimal properties have been found for catalysts containing 4-9 V5+ per one V4+. (author)
